Learn more about Michigan state parks and recreation areas, campgrounds, state forest campgrounds, overnight lodging facilities, nonmotorized trails, park events and other outdoor spaces.

Advance camping and overnight lodging reservations can be made up to six months in advance of a planned arrival date. State forest campgrounds (with the exception of Elk Hill and Headquarters Lake equestrian state forest campgrounds) are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
